Okay, I have been informed that if I have a problem that requires answers to bugs, I should be posting here. So here, I'm posting here and hoping for a solution or a reply on WHAT EXACTLY I CAN DO ABOUT MY PROBLEM?
Please note that I have tried the direct link in the GM Chamber. Thank you those for your kind suggestion but it doesn't work, unfortunately.
I'm not sure if other players are currently experiencing the same problems as I have, but I would sincerely like to express my problems, concerns, and frustrations to the responsible staff members of the game service providers - specifically Ijji and Ndoors - here. And I apologize to those who may not agree with me but I feel that my problems (along with many other players who may be experiencing the same) should be receiving attention.
During the past 2 weeks, I have been experiencing problems with the ijji reactor for it repeatedly notifying me for script errors and others referred to as "unknown errors" and indicating that it (the reactor) has to be terminated. The result of prompting termination upon my logon has given me many troubles for my mere attempt to get online, to enjoy myself, and to chat with friends after my long tiring day. I have learned from my experience that if I wish to avoid these annoying "error messages"; I must be very careful with my EVERY CLICK and try to click on the "Start game" button BEFORE a message pops up prompting for termination and manually exit the reactor BEFORE it exits by itself. And if I don't click fast enough or if my internet doesn't run smoothly enough, I would have to repeat the whole process again.
I'm not quite sure if anyone finds it so, but I find this to be very ridiculous and bothersome since this beats the purpose of having the ijji reactor in the first place, where I would be honored to remind readers that the promoted slogan of the ijji reactor is (to): "Experience a new way to play! Ijji Reactor is a new launching service that supports an EASY and QUICK START of ijji games." Here, I would be very, very happy to say that I TOTALLY agree with the first remark - Yes, I am experiencing a whole NEW way of playing games, where in all my past 10 gaming years have never experienced before. And as for the second remark, yes I will have to agree that the reactor is an extremely EASY AND QUICK way of preventing my enjoyment to ijji online games.
Because of my troubles with the ijji reactor, I have created a new ndoor account hoping that I may get some relief there. All has been well for I am willing to tolerate with anything, so long as I can find my attachments with other players online but this substitution has been taken away from me shortly after the update of the new patch. Starting Thursday, October 29, I have been having trouble with BOTH the ijji and ndoors client where I was unable to log on. Before I was thinking it is only a service down for the normal maintenance and has decided to end the night early. But on the evening of Friday, October 30, I see prompts of the self-patch update; I waited for the update and selected my server but shortly after; instead of the normal 3 characters picking page, I receive a notice saying "The game version does not match the server version: Game: v259. Server: v260." Before I thought it's only because of my internet, so I exited the game and tried to prompt for the game's auto patch update; upon many failed attempts, I tried to seek help from forum postings where I read a reply from GMZed suggesting the re-installation of the clients. Fine, I will do that. I uninstalled the current reactor and client, downloaded the latest available from the website, and installed it. Yay! I can finally go online. Feeling very happy, I do the same thing for both Ndoors' and Ijji's client since I'm not sure when one or the other may become unforgiving again. When that's done, it has already taken up 6hrs of my evening. When I finally go to load my game, I begin to get all these pop ups in front of the purple page again saying like: "Quest\AvatarDress.txt: Quest Info Load Error", "Quest\Ring.txt: Quest Info Load Error", "SOULGUARD ABILITY TYPE TEXT ERROR: Incorrect Type Text [SOULGUARD_ABILITY_DEFENSE_FIRE]", etc. After all these error notices, I can log onto the server, but after some time when there's many players talking in the chat boxes, I get a new error saying "Min text error", which continues to pop up even after I clicked ok and my whole goonzu game lags to the point where I have to manually kick the power button. Seeing the time being so "early" in the morning of Saturday, October 31, I chose to go to bed and will try to face and fix the problem after I get some rest. Unfortunately for me, the problem remains unsolved.
Seeing that the error problems persist even upon restarting the computer and the clients many times (having the same problem with both), I once again uninstalled, redownload and reinstalled everything again. Better yet, I now get a message of "Txt Manager No Text Msg: 3098" right ON the purple page and with that message popping up non-stop, the yellow/golden bar hasn't moved even 1 mm after my hundreds of clicking ok. Wow, now this error won't even let the game to start loading. Marvelous! This is such a nice gaming experience. So nicely made that I certainly believe that it should be filed within an encyclopedia under the section named: Online gaming and maybe get an award for this. I have wasted so much of my time and bandwidth for the wish of just going online and having a good time with my friends on the Halloween day of 2009. Is this really just too much to ask for???
Now, I would really like to ask: What's the meaning of all this? If an update hoping for better enjoyment of a game brings up all these meaningless troubles to an addicted, loyal player; then I would truly want to let the world know - and specially the responsible staff members/department know - that I would rather of having no updates at all. Since I may at least go online and play/chat like usual instead of feeling abandoned and locked outside of a game server.
I know that all responsible staff are very busy with the voting system, the updates, and any other bugs there may exists but I seriously want my problem solved ASAP, so I may soon continue to enjoy the game with other players.
P.S.: I know that some people may just say it's only a game, and there's no need to make a fuss over something like this. But I would like to express that a successful game with good service should be one that meets the minimal satisfaction of a basic user, which is to be able to access it with undue problems at the very least.
